Deacons

Statement of purpose:
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work. John 9:4

The Deacon Ministry mission is to love God and to love each other.  The relationship between a Deacon and God is enhanced through prayer and Bible study.  Deacons support the Pastor and members, as well as the Ordinances of the Gospel and the Church.  They assist in the worship service, baptisms and the administering of Holy Communion.  They support the church vision and aid its mission by encouraging the community of believers to grow as active Disciples of Christ.  They strive to meet the needs of the congregation through the fellowship and visitation of the sick and shut-in.
