 Statement of purpose

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalms, 84:10

Ushering is a ministry to help the church member and visitor experience a wonderful worship service.   They are there to assist in seating members and visitors, provide care for the needs of the pastor during the service, attend to the needs of the visiting speaker or guests of honor, and maintain the decorum of the service, according to the church’s tradition.
